Office Equipment

Computer: A computer is a must anymore. A small home secretarial service may be able to get away with a cheap computer while a graphic artist will need to spend much more, three thousand is not unheard of. Go online, do lots of research and compare what others have said about a company, its follow up customer service and warranty. An extended warranty is not needed, but a good back up device is – external hard drive or CD burner is recommended.

A laptop may be a better fit. If you go to just about any coffeehouse anymore you will see people with their laptops working. They make their local coffee house their office. Also, if you are traveling a laptop is the only answer. With some businesses, a laptop is a better choice than a desktop computer.
