Fixed Monthly Expenses

This worksheet is actually one of the easier ones to figure out just by its name. These are the expense you pay each month and don't change much. They may go up periodically, but otherwise they change little. These are also the expenses you have less control over and if you don't pay them can get you in the most trouble. Like, if you don't pay your rent/mortgage you end up sleeping on the street.

Some people may not agree whether some of the items in the list are actually monthly expenses, like funding your retirement account. Actually, if you don't make it part of this list you may never put aside enough money for retirement, or anything else for that matter. So, yes, even putting money every month should be considered an expense.

Monthly Expenses

The list in this worksheet are some of the most common ones. They do not have to be in any particular order, but if your would like to create one and place each expense into some kind of order, by all means do so.
